Christian Dior

Christian Dior or for some many people, THE LEGEND. Why legend? what did he do? who is Christian Dior? Christian Dior was born in the city of love and fashion, France in 1905. At the age of 42 Mr. Dior decided to explore the Paris Fashion scene. It wasn't an easy way since at that time it was after the world war 2 and fashion was still considering some things and certain rules as well. But he changed everything, thats why he's called the legend. 

Dior, started by selling his sketches first, after he was an assistant designer. As soon as he started working as an assistant the world war 2 happened and he had to stop as he had to serve in the army. 

He Created French couture, Luxury and beautiful dresses, any woman at that time wanted a dress from Dior's collection. In 1946 Christian Dior had his own design house where from there he created the new look, totally opposite from what people saw post the war. 

 1950s he became the most famous fashion designer, he was really famous for dressing grace kelly and making women look more beautiful. He created a fashion empire.

Dior died in 1957 with a heart attack, Yves San Lauren took over his business and both names are still really famous now a days.
