One way to describe Art nouveau is with the elements of flowing lines, curves and organic subjects. It had a lot of repetitive lines and artists used a lot of curves which showed the characteristics of the painting. Art nouveau wasn’t just painting, there were portraits and furniture too.
Some of the main things in this type of art are flowers, vines, leaves and plenty of other organic items.
