Pop art a movement that started in Britain, mid 1950’s followed by United states in the late 1950’s. Pop art is used in many things such as advertising, news and it was a trial to usual Fine arts with popular culture. The main idea of Pop art was to do something totally different from the known context, it’s not about seeing fine art it’s to see the attitude of the art.
Abstract impressionism is another word that can describe Pop art, you usually find this type of art in comic books and advertising. Pop art is compared to Dada, in my own opinion I think that they resemble each other well since both of them are not sticking to the rules and creating something different.
As you can see in this picture it shows to the main things you find in pop art. A clear one colour background, red spots to fill the face and contrast in colours, bright and dull.
Pop
Art has inspired many ever since it was created, lots of artists and designers inspire them self from
it. Here are some images of others work.
Pop art in Fashion.
*Focusing on the face and the bubble heads.
Pop art in Graphic design
*Bright and dull colours.
I think that Pop art is one of the best art men has ever created. It has a meaning, colours, it's fun and different. By time Pop art is getting bigger and better.
